Hi there!

My name is Mario and I'm a freelance writer. Welcome to my blog. There's no much I can say about me. I guess what matters is what's written on my posts. 
 
In any case, I can say that I'm just a guy willing to write something because that's what I like to do: writing stuff. Words are my thing, I guess. I love to read as well and in a general way, I enjoy very much to dive into a story, any story really, no matter whether it's a drama, a comedy or a horror story. But if it's sci-fi I even like it better. Nothing beats a good sci-fi story!
I believe I'm not alone in the liking of words and stories told by somebody else. Despite being in the 21st century and with all the technology surrounding us everywhere we go and everything we do, we still love a good story made by another human being.

After all, that's one of the main goals of blogging, right? Although through blogging you can pretty much write about everything you want, there's no need to be some fiction stuff. The point is, there's going to be somebody else on the other side of the screen -no matter the size of it- reading and diving into this ocean of words. So tell me, is there anything better than swimming among a good story or a good article? Am I the only one experiencing a climax-like punch in my brain every time I'm enjoying a good book or a good piece of text? Is there anyone out there who, like me, tends to read no more than 20 pages per day when reading a good book so it may last longer? Seems like eating your favourite meal with a teaspoon, so you enjoy every small bite of it.

In case you are asking yourself why 'Roads to Madness' as the name of my blog, here is the explanation: it is a tribute to my favourite metal band of all ages Queensryche, and its amazing song called 'Roads to Madness'. I think the name suits very well the spirit I want to give to this blog.
